I think that this shot is my all time favorite glower shot thus far..It isn't the perfect composition by any means..I woud have much preferred to have just this bloom in the shot and not the side petals of another Petunia but it works..adds a bit of color to the top of the photo and I didn't have to crop out the yummy bokeh lights..so I am as pleased with it as I am going to get.
This morning I snapped a few shots of the 4 Petunias growing sporadically in last seasons leftover planter..they just bloomed out of nowhere..I loved the morning sunlight on the blooms..so much in fact that I wanted to try the evening sun as well..to see if there was a vast difference in how the differing light at certain times of the day may affect the mood of a photo..same subject matter..different light..different angle..and wow what a difference.
I mentioned a few days ago how I was beginning to love the evening shade and how it is cast upon blooms..gives such a warmth..so this shot did not disappoint..I love all of the smallest of details in this shot..just look at all of the micro hairs up the neck of the flower..reminded me of static electricity..on the hairs of our arms etc..Even the contrasting colors are vastly different from this mornings shoot..Love how the last of the day's sunlight is cast at the far end of the yard behind the flower..
My wife and I visited the Robert Moses-Robert H. Saunders Power Dam Massena, NY Hawkins Point Visitor's Center while on vacation. This is a static electricity power display.
Afew of us went to Lincoln today for a browse and chill, me, Tomm, and Josh took a wander around the cathedral on the way back for abit of culture, walked back to his Polo looking dumped.

the air is soooo dry in korea...my hair is also like this in real life,especially in winter..terrible...tootles didn't really mind much however.
