Static on TVs is now a fading memory. Taken on a Ricoh Capolio R7 that I briefly used before returning to the shop to exchange for a Nikon D40. The Ricoh's images were on the whole, a bit disappointing.
Army JROTC students explore the static display event at the JROTC National Raider Challenge 2024, Fort Knox, Ky., October 25, 2024. This is the second time the event has been held at Ft. Knox. The competition, hosted by U.S. Army Cadet Command runs from October 24th through 27th and brought in nearly 300 teams built from around 3,900 Cadets from 220+ schools across the nation and from as far away as Guam. Under forebidding skies Royal Air Force Scottish Aviation Jetsream T1 XX500/H sits in the static line-up at the RAF Mildenhall Air Fete held on 25/05/1996

Mobile, Alabama's Wizzard Sleeve goes for weirdo scuzz psych punkness. Riffs from brain and ass collide in a house of mirrors fuckedness - and that is a compliment! You can't go wrong with a person named Captain Beyonce in the band. Static Static is one of my favorite bands going. Great single/double chord blasts are these guys game. Lots of fuzz and throb and some killer wailing, with a too cool for class vocalist...

When somebody gives you static, you simply have to remind them that God shot you down for a reason.
I took this because it reminded me of the electrical current spheres. The static electricity built up as my daughter was bouncing and playing on a trampoline.

Where ships used to wait the Tidal River Avon and the Floating Harbour to match water levels we have static skiing by the use of fixed generator with a winding mechanism which pulls the skier from one end of the dock to the other.
We have had water skiing in the docks before but was starting from the Harbour Masters office with the skiers pulled with large speedboats.
This is a much eco-friendly way.
