Dubgang meeting 2013

Below is a really nice adoption of one of our smaller animals. A sugar glider named "Static." I don't know if most people know this (I really never did) but sugar gliders are not very trusting right off the bat. They need time to bond with their new owner. This little guy had been with his previous owner about 6 years, until medical issues of the owner ensued. He was OK here but still nervous. Yvette, has had experience with many sugar gliders and has a few now. She is a wonderful owner, even taking one to an oncologist! She drove all the way from Utica to meet with him. As you can see, Static has started to settle in right away. A happy surprise for Yvette! Just wanted to share that every adoption counts. Large to small! Thanks for looking!!

Hi again Liz,

I can't believe how well Static has adjusted. He happily hung out with me & let me take some photos tonight. Static is even sleeping in my shirt pocket as I send this. I'm so happy that we found each other. Hope you enjoy the pics and feel free to forward them to his original owner if they would like to see them.

Thanks so much,

Yvette
