Inside Publications started out publishing the inside, a Lincoln Park neighborhood newspaper. Later, the coverage expanded to some nearby neighborhoods, and Inside Publications published the more Lincoln Park focused Inside Lincoln Park
In 2008, Inside Publications acquired the News-Star (which traditionally covered Rogers Park, Edgewater and Uptown) and the Booster (which covered Lakeview, Lincoln Square and Ravenswood) from Wednesday Journal Inc (which got them from Pioneer Press, which got them from Lerner Newspapers chain). Inside was merged with Booster into Inside-Booster, and News-Star remained the same.
Since then, Inside Publications started claiming, rather dubiously, that they've been publishing neighborhood newspapers for 100 years. That's only true if you count how long Booster and News-Star have been around. Inside Publications have been around since 1950s - which, I would argue, is still pretty respectful, but apparently the owner doesn't think so.

Starting off the holiday weekend, The Maryland National Guard's Recruiting & Retention Battalion, held their annual organization day at Camp Frettered Military Reservation in Reisterstown, Md., July 1, 2015.
The event was held to bring Soldiers and their families together, engage in activities, and to boost morale.
