Early stage design drawings / concept visuals set into the proposed plot and landscape. The project is live, land acquired, cleared and ready to go.
The indicated landscape contours are a marriage of a site survey and Google-Earth technology, which provides an extremely accurate representation of the landscape we are working with.

“I Hate Helen is not a play! But it surely is something that announces the art form of the next decades. So why don’t you take a look?” Cristina Rusiecki
For how long can you really feel you are not alone?
What about your love life?
And when does the hatred begin?
“I Hate Helen is not a play, or to put it in a better way, it is not only a play. It is more like a movie, a Cartoon Networkly cartoon, a music; it sweats urban legend (snuff is just an example) it is underground and anti-underground at the same time and it is a savoury parody.
These elements, if considered separately, are successful, but if considered together, plus the actors’ performance, they are simply unheard-of and I must say very joyful. It a mixture of multimedia, a chaos finally aligned by the thread of the parody created by the media discourse.” (Sonia Lodi )

Village Green 2014 art and music festival took place at Chalkwell Hall on Saturday 12 July 11am-10pm.
Around 22,000 people enjoyed a fantastic atmosphere at Village Green in the sunshine yesterday. Among the 22,000 were:
1000’s of under 11s enjoying the mechanical, fire breathing dragon- the smallest nightclub in the world, the Miniscule of Sound, the Insect Circus and loads more attractions on site.
1000’s of teenagers gathered at the new Youth Village stage – designed and curated by Southend school pupils it boasted a packed programme that kept our younger festival goers entertained all day until 8pm
600 arts, crafts, vintage and food traders
900 artists performing on 11 stages
140 volunteers
100 production crew
With something on site for all ages – families were kept entertained all day – the atmosphere was friendly and fantastic across the day – and even the small downpour of rain during the headliner, Beth Orton didn’t dampen spirits.
A really great day!
The fantastic line up of artists and musicians included Beth Orton, Eddi Reader (Fairground Attraction); Dan le Sac vs Scroobius Pip; New York ska band, The Slackers; from London Man Like Me; Youth Club, Shlomo; Danny and the Champions of the Worlds; Kathryn Williams; Eight Rounds Rapid; and hot tips to go global in the very near future, The Hosts!
Alongside, we had an exciting exchange with four visual artists from Shanghai; a wide range of comedy, cabaret, live art, literature, film and a whole host of extraordinary outdoor arts, installations, workshops and performances.

The symbolism of the snake through abstract and minimal aesthetics.
From Greek mythology to the Chinese culture, the snake is present in the imagination of cultures worldwide. Benevolent, protective, intimidating and sometimes evil, the chimeric animal has a range of temperaments. This interpretation highlights the ambivalent feelings of humans towards the animal: its fluid, winding and undulating body is hypnotic and enchanting, while its metallic structure and thorny articulations evoke a feeling of hostility or fear. The flows of light, which set the animal's skeleton in motion at the whim of its instincts, strengthen this dual perception. As you near it, you can hear its murmurs, part of a soothing atmosphere of sound.
Module produces works at a point where architecture, design and new technologies intersect. The Lyon agency, created by the artist-architect ?Nicolas?Paolozzi, produces sculptural, light, sound and interactive installations that revamp public spaces.
Nicolas?Paolozzi?a designed his first artistic installations with the RDV collective, which he founded in 2011. Bringing together skills from different backgrounds, the project evolved towards the transversal practice of architecture. In a process of continual experimentation, the collective explored the possibilities provided by images and sound through numerous projects: stage design, exhibitions, performances, ephemeral micro-architecture.
With the creation of Module in 2017, Nicolas has gone further by developing the concept of large-scale architecture in his works. Considering space as a set of interactions, he designs hybrid structures oscillating between tangible and intangible materials. As living creatures, his installations are given rhythm by the sound creations of the composer Baptiste Martineau. They evolve over time and provide the spectator with an immersive and singular experience of reality.

Pinky Swear acts as a performance and an installation in progress. It speaks of female friendship in an age of precarious occasions and reduced working conditions. The form is shaped according to shapes and materials such as metal, glass and plasticine. Metal represents determination and stability, glass honesty and sharpness, and plasticine represents playfulness and flexibility in the relationship. The materials are placed in space in relation to each other, looking for the right ratio in the artistic composition in relation to the performers and the body. The installation is created by sharp objects, women’s bodies, stretchy pieces of clothing through which the area of what is important and untouchable – but also painful – to a woman is created. The research process of emerging work includes conversation; textual exchange of personal stories; production of objects; video, light and sound inside and outside the fabric; performing with various media; improvisational images and dramaturgy of performance.
