Stage Fright... - I actually know very little about this location myself. When we visited this one, I especially noticed the many decay. But I can imagine how beautiful this theater must have been in the past ...
Passing through the city's Theater District, an outbound Metro Rail train descends below Main Street in downtown Buffalo, New York.

I don’t often practice
everything I preach.
Bright spotlights shine from above.
Only you are in control
of your bittersweet destiny.
Everything I want
is barely in reach.
So much to do
in one short lifetime.
Unspeakable perseverance
and devotion to the dream.
Soar over obstacles
in the mind and soul.
Take one step at a time.
Walk upon the gilded stage of your dream
and never walk away.

This red cockscomb has attitude, after its ‘performance’, what about an encore? LOL
It was my full intention to photograph it like this from the moment I saw it.
Difficult to control the light because of the glossy texture of the velvety flower.
More play with light and dof.
More from my garden.
In the Victorian language of flowers, Celosias signified humour, warmth, and silliness.
The cockscomb or cristata types feel and look like prickly but are soft and shiny as velvet.
Have a fun day and thanx for your visits and comments, M, (*_*)
