Manoel Theatre, Valetta, Malta in May 2018
I got a little confused looking back on this as I thought that, at the time, there was a rehearsal happening there but, looking more closely, these people all have backpacks. We were also in the theatre as part of a guided tour so perhaps either these people were part of a special tour group or were actually part of a rehearsal (my other photos do show a rehearsal in progress); I simply don't recall.
I suppose it doesn't really matter as it was a delightful place to visit and one day when I am back in Malta I may get to see a performance there.
No idea what type of dragonfly this is, since I normally photograph birds, but couldn't resist snapping a shot of him nonetheless as he hung on during a stiff breeze...

while looking for a bird in flight shot for this weeks Feathery Friday theme I suddenly remembered that I had managed to get two good flight shots of Grey Jays-so here's the other one :)
Happy Feathery, Fluttery, Furry, Flowery, FINALLY Friday!
I went out to shoot insects but ended up shooting flowers instead.
I liked this image because each of the blooms on these Prairie Cone flowers is in a different stage of blooming.
On another day, on the same trip, on the inside of the big curve at Racey East, Quebec, we get a set of three Canadian Pacific "bigs" and a "medium"(M), providing the symphony of MLW song for the local farmers. What a sight it is as the run nearly 180 degrees around me! Just like a gigantic arched stage in the fields!
Dieses Bild wurde von einem befreudeten Fotografen geschossen und von mir leicht bearbeitet. Danke Andi

From buds to blooms.
Originating in the West Indies, Mexico, and Central and South America, the flower is known botanically as Eustoma grandiflorum.
The common name comes from the Greek words lysis, meaning 'dissolution' and anthos, meaning 'flower'.
Colours include white, light and dark pink, lavender and deep purple.
They are great cut-flowers.
Double and single-flower varieties exist.
Here, I tried a different light again, even , more dramatic, well, you do have young up and coming-performers in the 'wings' and the 'STARS' taking front stage, lol.
A reflection of real life?
Hope this brings a bit of joy again rather than Angst which I see in so many images, have a good day and thanks for your visit, so very much appreciated, Magda, (*_*)

Though the scenery along Lake Superior is beautiful in this old mining village, the lupines take centre stage in this image.
