Two images blended together of the same Cormorant and Sea Trout. Taken on the river Coquet Northumberland, and yes it did manage to swallow it.
We planted lots of tulip bulbs in late Autumn last year and they're currently showing off their red (and yellow) beauty. The yellows in the background of the photo are dandelions (or something similar to them, possibly 'Cats Ears'?). Whatever they are they're providing a carpet of yellow which is so pleasing to the eye. I didn't 'up the ante' with the red of the tulip in pp. That's exactly how deep and rich the red is in real life. Of course, I love it to bits. 😊 ❤️🌷

Unfortunately the ice is still thin and temperatures are already on the rise again, so probably no show soon.
A child’s toy and an old bench....childhood and old age.... A visual metaphor? Or maybe just a little boy who got called to lunch and left his trike on the sidewalk!
Ever wonder what it would be like to be part of the stage crew for a great singer. For a moment I was back stage watching this star, Eastern Meadowlark give the performance of her life. Obviously the audience was socially distanced.
"On Stage" -
Blinded by the light.
Fearful of the light.
Swept up among the light.
Humbled by the light.
Fearful no more.
