We planted lots of tulip bulbs in late Autumn last year and they're currently showing off their red (and yellow) beauty. The yellows in the background of the photo are dandelions (or something similar to them, possibly 'Cats Ears'?). Whatever they are they're providing a carpet of yellow which is so pleasing to the eye. I didn't 'up the ante' with the red of the tulip in pp. That's exactly how deep and rich the red is in real life. Of course, I love it to bits. 😊 ❤️🌷

I've taken a long weekend for some much needed R+R and luckily the weather held out! It's has been more of a day seen in full colour as the hedgerows are full of daffodils and blossom, but when I saw this bloom surrounded by dappled light I knew it would be perfect in black and white!
Ever wonder what it would be like to be part of the stage crew for a great singer. For a moment I was back stage watching this star, Eastern Meadowlark give the performance of her life. Obviously the audience was socially distanced.
