The South Stack Lighthouse is built on the summit of a small island off the north-west coast of Holy Island, Anglesey. It was built in 1809 to warn ships of the dangerous rocks below.
The stacks on the Notre Dame power plant on a blue sky day after last Saturday's massive snow storm. The right stack is on the Albert Kahn designed portion of the plant.

Four stackable silver and pearl rings that are made to fit together when worn. What this means is that the pearls, when worn, fit together next to each other perfectly. The freshwater pearls are individually handpicked by me for their beauty and colour.
I believe these would be so perfect for a wedding, for bridesmaids, a new stepdaughter or mother of the bride.
This is South Stack lighthouse on the north-west coast of Anglesey. Holyhead is behind the hilll to the right and ferrys sail past here on their way to/from Dublin.

It's always fun to cook and eat with colorful bowls and plates in a colorful
kitchen. Somehow makes the food that much more enjoyable, don't you
think? My color of choice is orange, what else?? :-)
Stacks of Babette squares, ready for me to play with layout and start seaming. And weaving in ends, oh the ends.
Looking at this picture actually makes me feel slightly better. Since I crocheted this rather bass-ackwardsly, I was a little afraid it would look hideous when it all came together. It looks okay, at least from this perspective.
1914 postmarked postcard view of the Jackson County Court House in downtown Brownstown, Indiana. The court house square was bounded by Walnut Street on the north, Sugar Street on the East, Cross Street on the south, and Main Street on the west. The primary entrance faced Main Street and was flanked by columns and lamp posts. This view was looking south from the intersection at Walnut and Main Streets. According to the 1916 Sanborn™ fire insurance map set, the clock tower was 65 feet tall. The time on the clock was 12:40 when this photograph was taken.
The 1916 map set also shows the large home on the east side of Sugar Street that appears in the background of this photograph. There was another two-story frame construction house on the south side of Cross Street facing the square. It was east of the jail.
A cannon and a stack of cannonballs were on this north corner of the square behind the wrought iron fence. Wagons were parked along Walnut Street at the left and three men were engaged in conversation at the fire hydrant in the foreground. Another group of people was standing on the sidewalk leading to the entrance.
