Here's Bob again, this time stacked using 3 shots.

Our Daily Challenge - Mar 4, 2012 - "Stacks"

This was fun!

I was pretty much at a loss until late afternoon when I decided to see if I could pick up some pale/pastel fabric at the fabric store, as I tend to prefer the darker tones and that's pretty much all I have save white and pink (for Valentine's day.)

While I was there, I found this lovely blue&white check fleece (love fleece - it hangs nicely, doesn't cause glare, and tents to resist wrinkling.)

Anyway, with fabric in hand, I started thinking I'd go with an "It's a Boy!" baby theme. Alas, on returning home, I realized son's baby stuff is in a box or two (or ten) and not at all accessible.

So I rummaged through the puppy bin (Yes, I have one. Yes, it is accessible. Stop laughing.) and came up with some pastel toys.

(Hint: rubber bands work wonders to hold woolie toys together when you want to stack them and have them stay stacked!)

For whatever reason, the boys got a kick out of this shoot, and a good time was had by all.

I really like the depth of field in this shot. I was using a rented 50mm f1.4 lens.

Seem while walking home. What's the word to describe a pile of construction lights?

Lots of these stacks along one of our usual dog walks in Clumber Park. I wonder if they are a result of some of the clean up after the damage caused by heavy snows or whether this was planned clearing. Maybe a bot of both.

Stacking it was easy. Cutting into squares was a pain though :-)

It's the first time I see a yellow fly actually! This (huuge) one seemed to be injured since its right wing looked a bit damaged. That's why I tried to take several shots to stack in Zerene Stacker!

Unfortunately I couldn't get closer because of my home made stuff :(

I was up at Pathings Art Centre and noticed these chairs stacked. Thought it might make a good abstract. Luckily Pete Zab www.flickr.com/photos/petezab/ was around to give me instruction on how to turn it into a Zabstract

Couldn't get two of the NICs on the Aewin box to work, so I still have to use a switch. But now I have a fanless firewall running in bridge mode. It has a 1 GB flash drive built-in. Attached to it is also a 150 GB portable LaCie disk. The Aewin is running Linux. The Palm is connected to its serial port, which is configured as console in Linux so I don't have to open the box to access the VGA cable in case it doesn't boot properly.

3 photos stacked in helicon focus :)

I couldn't get closer or shoot more because my reversed lens isn't sticked to my camera, neither does my extension tube (I have to hold it :( and do everything manually without a stand) so it's hard to take a lot of photos with different focal depths :(

Is this what they mean by stacking TV trays? They sure are hard to store this way, haha.
