A Stack of DiamondBack Packages.

You have to look very carefully to see the Can-can dancers now.

South Stack is famous as the location of one of Wales' most spectacular lighthouses, South Stack Lighthouse. It has a height of 41 metres (135 feet). It has a maximum area of 7 acres.

Until 1828 when an iron suspension bridge was built, the only means of crossing the deep water channel on to the island was in a basket which was suspended on a hemp cable. The suspension bridge was replaced in 1964, but by 1983 the bridge had to be closed to the public, due to safety reasons. A new aluminium bridge was built and the lighthouse was reopened for public visits in 1997. Thousands of people flock to the lighthouse every year, thanks to the continued public transport service from Holyhead's town centre.

There are over 400 stone steps down to the footbridge (and not, as local legend suggests, 365), and the descent and ascent provide an opportunity to see some of the 4,000 nesting birds that line the cliffs during the breeding season. The cliffs are part of the RSPB South Stack Cliffs bird reserve, based at Elin's Tower.

The Anglesey Coastal Path passes South Stack, as does the Cybi Circular Walk. The latter has long and short variants; the short walk is 4 miles long and takes around two hours to complete. Travelling from the Breakwater Country Park, other sites along the way are the North Stack Fog Signal station, Caer y Tŵr, Holyhead Mountain and Tŷ Mawr Hut Circles.

A series of 27 sunrise photos stacked together using StarStaX. There is a little bit of blur - must have bumped the tripod during the series!

Warren, Connecticut. I liked both the geometry of these simple, French working glasses and the diffused light that shows through the cut sides. Stacking them made the patterns even more interesting. The sharp lens brought out all of the scratches in the glass but in fact I've grown to like scratches in monochrome, sort of like the weathering on aged skin.

Many photographers focus on perfections but I find that Imperfections make great photographs.

My stack of Nikes, Nike SBs and Jordans as I get ready to move out of my apartment.

Very tall pile of colorful books set against a white background (please note that I have replaced the paperback covers with craft paper which has a slightly mottled texture).

Somebody must have spent several hours building this incredible rock tower in the middle of the Poudre River last weekend. I didn't expect to see something like this, and didn't have the equipment with me to do it justice. By the time I came back at the end of the day, it was gone. Cache La Poudre Canyon, Northern Colorado. September 2008.

My first attempt at a studio stack with my macro lens. Stitched from 14 shots with zerene stacker. Natural light with a bounce camera left. ISO 100, f/3.2, 1/13s

I used the in focus stacking feature. This way, the sign and background are both in focus.

Stacked 5 pictures in Photoshop. Nice result i think

I was able to get a good start on some firewood for the future, this stack is actually two deep.

Stacks of colored clothes on white background

A portion of the stack of medical journals I've accumulated through the last few months.

I added another old flower pot, a plastic piece I found, and another pottery piece. After this photo I added an aluminum foil scarf to fill a gap between the head and first spacer. Much Taller.

I'm going to make some Tri Recs stars with a stacked background and different, light traditional fabrics for the star. I like this star both ways, but I especially like it on point. We'll see what I decide to do with them.

Saturday's chore: stacking a cord of firewood in the sun for drying.

Lots of love but we need much more love around this world we live in!!

Flickr Lounge - Weekly Theme (Week 19) ~ Stacked ...

Thanks to everyone who views this photo, adds a note, leaves a comment and of course BIG thanks to anyone who chooses to favourite my photo .... Thanks to you all.

the late afternoon sun on these wooden palette's was stunning. My monitor is horrible, but hopefully the colours are vibrant enough to convey how it really was.

It's also my current background - although icons get more than a little lost...
