Remember my first alcohol ink background? This is the first of two cards I made with it. I kept it simple by just adding a glitter die cut sentiment from @simonsaysstamp and glitter strips and a few Nuvo drops. I'm entering this card in Simon's Flickr and Wednesday challenges.

Tried out this spotlight technique. I started off with some 110lb Neenah Classic Crest Cardstock + stamped the images + sentiment in Versafine Onyx Black ink. I also stamped the same exact images, on some Neenah 80lb cardstock. I added suttle color to the 80lb cardstock background using Oxide Inks in Peacock feathers, Cracked Pistachio + Lucky Clover. I Then cut out the parts I wanted to spotlight. Each rectangle panel is popped up on some craft foam + placed onto the card base matching up the images creating a spotlight effect. To complete the card I attached it to a top folding note card + finished off with some pool colored gems + doodle bug sequin in matching shades of the inks used + gave it a spritz of Glitter Dust. The sentiment is from the MFT Written in Watercolor Stamp set + sorry, I don’t know where Ithe tree branch + bird Stamp set is from. That’s kind of why I chose to use it.

Distress inks were used to paint wide stripes on the base as well as paper for the Layered Rose Dies. I used The Layered Rose and Rose Flurries Dies from Altenew to create the flowers, using Picked Rasberry, Worn Lipstick and Abandoned Coral. The stamp is from Altenew’s Crafty Life Stamp set. The card was assembled and attached to a grey cardbase.

Tim Holtz’s Classic Wreath was stamped and colored with Distress markers. The sentiment was embossed in red. Circle dies were used and striped twine is added. Inspired by Debbie Yates day 1 #25daysoftags2018. I was inspired by the colors!
