While Washington D.C.'s KDCA has had its share of news worthy air traffic control issues, this picture shows a common occurrence at KDCA some call the 'Squeeze Play'. This is when an aircraft is instructed to depart, sometimes with 'no delay', just prior to an arriving aircraft. While to the untrained eye, the separation might appear to be minimal or unsafe, this sort of operation is not deemed such by the FAA and falls within regulation. During high traffic times of day many airports use the Squeeze Play to assist in keeping flights as on time as possible.

Couldn't go to the strippers because of flash flooding in the industrial area that the shed is in. Bad storms here in Brisbane in the last day or two. Going on Saturday so for now it is squeezed in our over stuffed garage. It's nice and narrow so will be good in a hall. Has a nice beat up look. Hopefully will work well in a rough luxe room.
