my mom brought this squash home for me to photograph because she knows I like to photograph "weird food". So this is for my mom. The curve reminds me of a person with their back to the camera.

We`re still not sure what to expect when it bears fruit but whatever it is we`ll be happy

Anybody know what this squash is called? We picked it up at the greenmarket in Fort Greene on Saturday, but I didn't ask what variety it is.

One delicata (left) and one spaghetti squash (right) plant in a cracked and discarded WM bin. I've never grown winter squash before. The quarters might be tight for these guys. We'll have to see.

Squash that was growing outside had chunks missing. I ran over the squash with the mower to mulch it. Hour later Squash thief returns to help itself to more manageable sized chunks.
