Exploring in my garden after an early morning shower, I was shocked when I came across my bleeding heart sprouts. The tip of every point on almost every leaf had a beautiful droplet...it looked like bubbles landed and froze in place.

Please view large :-) Have a wonderful Thursday, my friends!

Loving or hating brussel sprouts is a genetic thing.

Location: Goreme, Turkey

Goreme is a small town in Turkey, famous for the odd structures (in the background) as well as local pottery. Spotted a potter's day work dumped on a cart wheel a few meters from his workshop and couldn't help compulsively snapping away with my super awesome Tokina 11-16mm!

Shoot of Corylus avellana near the forest stream in Pushchino, Moscow region

The tops of the fern leaves as they appear a few inches out of the ground. These shoots are from the smaller plants that just started to grow in the yard and will only be about 6-8 inches in height, compared to the larger, older ones which get about a two feet tall and wide. The greenery of the new growth is also brighter than what it will become later on in the season, i thought it almost looked artificial.

ODC-Everyday Wonders

Stu planted some Salad Turnip Seeds a few days ago and they are now coming up. I like these little turnips, they are very tasty. It is incredible how a tiny seed can eventually turn into part of a tasty meal!

What happens when you put half an onion in a container in the fridge, then forget about for a few weeks.

Just got an invite for one of my sprouting broccoli images to a Wellness part of IGPOTY exhibition this year in New York Botanical Garden. Pretty chaffed :)

And this is a different one taken the same day. Should have changed the angle a bit while taking this photos. Would be lovley if not for the cropped top but showing it anyway as I like the colours ;-)

Wishing you lots of yummy pancakes and a lovley day today !!

Layers inside a red onion.

At last, I have finished seven sprout series.

I love their rich and bright colors.

Brussels sprouts for sale at the Aksarben Farmers Market.

As the snow piles up and I go stir crazy, I'll photograph almost anything. But I do love brussels sprouts.

Having our first sprouts of the new season today.

Brussels sprouts, a seasonal green vegetable popular around Christmas time here in Britain.

Brussels Sprouts during winter

Delicious "Italian" Garlic & Herb Turkey breast from their deli and the green pistachio muffins are the main reason to shop at Sprouts. :) Along with the very fresh produce. "Pretzel rolls" have been in here lately, which amuses me. They're pretty good but never as good as they are in Europe. Not sure why, but it's like that with many things the Americans try to copy from all kinds of world cuisines.
