Lizard on Springwatch Wild Academy.

Always nice to see one of your photos pop up on TV. I got two messages from the SW team asking to use a lizard and smooth newt photo :^)

Would like to have said "Early bird catches the worm" but it was late afternoon.!!

Emerged from the bee box in the garden.

It's puffin season again. The usual places all have their communities back - SE Herm, east of Jethou and east of L'Etacq.

I was very lucky to capture this Hobby eating a dragonfly fly on the wing just a few feet above my head!

The BBC Springwatch studio at RSPB Minsmere. Ready to be pressed into action towards the end of May this year :-)
