I'd seen these tiny flowers on a walk on Easter Sunday, but I'd only had a standard zoom lens along then. So I mounted my Minolta AF macro lens (+ Sony adapter) before I went out yesterday (Easter Monday). The flowers are 1-2cm in diameter, and simply beautiful. A fairly strong wind added some motion blur to the flowers on the right. [SNY06838_lr_2000]

The Cape is ablaze with wild flowers at the moment and it always looks so beautiful with the animals scattered around the landscape...

It was lovely to see the lambs chasing each other and having fun, but I did feel sorry for them because it was so cold in the biting wind. But they didn't seem to mind..
