Cambie St, Vancouver BC

Fridaynight was snack-night. We made it easy on ourself and took a short trip to the snackbar.

I had:

2 breadrolls with frikadel

1 Hamburger

1 Shoarma springroll

Was the same as ever. Nice but not very nutricious...

Rewarded:

2 1/2 stars

An entirely unhealthy "second supper" of breaded torpedo shrimp and vegetable spring rolls -- with sweet and sour sauce, of course!

Taken with a Nikon D3000

Made fresh and tasty. They were out of shrimp so substituted grilled chicken. Served with a peanut sauce, but took about 15 minutes to prepare and $5.50 for two which is a bit higher than I'm used to. (via Foodspotting)

I made Miranda some spring rolls: the wrappers are only made of rice flour; I stuffed them with carrot, swede, peas, spinach, flageolet beans and a little Chinese five spice; inexpertly wrapped them up and shallow fried them.

They were a hit. And not only with Miranda!
