She loves all animals and insects (most especially worms lately ... even bringing them inside the house because they are her "friends"). Most beloved insect, however, is no doubt the little ladybugs she's finding everywhere. She's like the ladybug whisperer ... she finds the little creatures everywhere we go. :)
Again with the apologies for not being around much. Crazy broken body just won't give me a break it seems. Thanks for your continued support and friendships ... hopefully you won't all forget about me and I'll be back and visiting all your wonderful streams in no time. Sending out kindness and warm thoughts to you all.

I don't know what that thang is BUT there was purported tornado damage one county over...
#67 in Explore for 3/29/09 when I checked via Scout, may have changed by now, I think it's in the 70's as of this morning.
Now down to #317...
Anyway, I don't think I ever want to be this close to a nascent tornado ever again. I don't think it touched down anymore after causing some damage in neighboring Lancaster County.

Thanks to "Smile On Saturday" I thought I should go out in my snowy garden and take some photos for todays theme "PRICKLES AND CO"
I thought I could find some ice needles hanging down from my roof and trotted along in 75 cm snow and then I stumbled upon these beauties
On my sunny side, hidden by a wall of snow all tucked into the wall of my house, there they were
They are not prickly, thorny or spiky, but they are the best pins I could find
When I was making my way in the snow to capture some jewels for your group I sent you a nice thought, Maria :)
I wouldn't have seen these jewels if I hadn't wanted to make a photo to SoS

Am I not lucky
I have two seasons at the same time
Mom, on the west coast of Norway, has spring
And I have still my 1 meter snow in my garden
Incredible fun
Feeling very very lucky
Visiting mom
We are off on hikes, driving trips
Bonding
Laughing
Having fun
Eating healthy
Eating homemade food
And her cakes, good grief they are scrumptious (I have learned a new word from Bernard, lol)
You know, bonding with your parents when you are grown up, wow
It's so precious
You get to see other sides from your parents
You see a person you know you can totally trust with your secrets
You get to love them on quite another deep level
It's the most precious visits I do
Happy I can do this once a month and stay for days
Life is good, and I know that - it's so precious
