Too eager.........

They are back
Waterlilies floating in the lake
Buds not quite ready to open wide
A bit too cold still
But it is a sign for warmer days
My flowers aren't blooming yet but found this shot I took a while back of these beautiful flowers pushing through an iron fence.
春到
Spring is here

It looks like nature has been shattered for ever
But, it's happening again
The birth
It gives us hope for new beginnings
We have to believe
that
Everything will be all right
We are investigating a new area today.
Today we found this awesome bridge - a Donald Duck bridge 😊
It has a very international name on google maps: "Brooklyn Bridge" 😁
Made a trip down to the Pea Island Life Saving Station in the OBX. I had perfect skies, but there was a 30-mph wind which was sandblasting me and my camera. There was a good bit of camera shake due to the wind, but I think the results were OK, not great. I will definitely have to go back down there when there is no wind and try again. And also get some of the other shots I wanted to get.

We know spring has arrived here in Australia when huntsman sightings increase. They are harbingers and heralds of the warmer months.
This was my first encounter of the 2022 spring season on August 25, a Heteropoda sp. male, seen on the inside of an empty flower pot in the garden.
Spiders within genus Heteropoda are known commonly as giant huntsman due to the impressive sizes some species can achieve when fully grown.
This male had a body length of around 2 cm. I'm not sure if he is fully grown as yet.

It seemed to be quite newborn, stumbled around and laid down to rest very often.
Maybe there will be siblings too 😊
A wonderful location at a small mountain village, famous for it's cherry destillery.
This is a second capture from cherry blossom. My friend Daniel helps me with his nikon scanner to scan the velvia slide to 4000dpi.
In order to avoid references to pink and twirling I have uploaded a photo of a beautiful yellow magnolia blossom!
Long exposure during golden hour.

We love driving here.
It has been an avalanche here, on the opposite side of the lake where we are taking this photo. Huge boulders as high as houses, coming down all the way from the top of the mountain and destroyed farms and devided the lake in two.
Extremely fascinating, still people live here.
This happened long time ago.
In the 2nd world war the resistence hid themselves among the huge rocks.
At 306 m Totak is the 10th deepest lake in Norway

I have a strange liking for lupine fields. They are by far some of the most photogenic flowers for landscape photography in my opinion. Conditions this year have been so good that the lupines have taken over the entire coastal rolling hills in Socal.
What you don't see here is the mosquitoes and countless hungry 🐛 🐛 I was surrounded by 😂😂😅😅

I didn’t think there was going to be any color this morning, I’m glad I made the trip to Elizabeth City this morning.
