Young ♂ Crocothemis erythraea (Brullé, 1832), He still hasn't put on ferrari red ! This year the spring in Cartagena is being very rainy. I saw the first odonatos in March but since then the temperatures dropped and it has rained a lot, so the odonato season did not start until May

Spring came to Japan.

Cherry blossoms begin to bloom in various parts of Japan.

Cherry blossoms began to bloom also in Tokyo.

The flower will open to a lot of kinds of cherry blossoms in April in March.

And, the Japanese feels the thing that spring comes by enjoying cherry blossoms by love.

Sending out these joyful dianthus flowers to warm your Wednesday. I allowed my camera to dance a bit while taking five in-camera exposures for this shot. From the series, "Colors of Spring." Wishing everyone a wonderful day ahead. Thanks for the favs and kind feedback. It's much appreciated.

Card created for the HA "spring" challenge. "Is it spring yet?" This is the question my 3 year old dd keeps asking me. Unfortunately, it is not spring in our area yet....but soon! TFL!

I also wanted to mention that the giraffe is from the set that Karen sent to me for my birthday. Thank you, Karen! Hugs!

...Spring cleaning is not just for humans. Not sure what feathered or furry friend pulled this stuff out of the old bird house?

It is a pleasure to find out flowers in early spring.

Thought I'd take a break from our Southwest trip to share a few spring images. Unfortunately it doesn't look like spring around here right now, so this one's from the archives. Looking forward to seeing this huge magnolia tree in bloom again this year. For those who celebrate, have a joyous Easter weekend, and for all, happy spring!!!!! As always, I appreciate all your visits & comments!!!!

Beersheba Springs is a small town in East Tennessee with a population of 477. This view is of the Collins River Valley down below. Even though it was overcast I was able to capture some light showing through on the valley. Fall colors are just barely starting to show. I was about 2 weeks early for the full color of autumn. (Edited in Lightroom, Photoshop and Topaz)

With the coming of spring, I am calm again.

Spring Unsprung

This is officially my first day of spring 2016 image. The scene was bursting with colour where most places were dull as we went for a Sunday hike. The ice lay in thin sheets like shards of glass broken among the reeds and bushes. We actually heard them crashing off the branches with the warm sun as we stood there. Spring is on its way!

Magnolia trees from last year and on a beautiful spring day too!! Enjoy!! =D
