This summer has been so crazy. I have a color-coded spreadsheet for all the things going on. It's sick, I know, but I gotta have it!
In light of that, just felt like putting up something soothing and pretty, to remind myself of what's always going on behind the crush of modern life. I feel lucky to be able to stop and take the time to enjoy and capture things like this. And that I have the means to do it. Life is good.

We had planned to go into Florence this evening for a pleasant stroll and a nice meal. And then we found we had to work late filling in a planning spreadsheet that suddenly our colleagues back in the UK insisited had to be finished before we left Florence :-(
This is my lovely boss Trisha - we were both very unimpressed. So much for the glamour of international travel.
The first picture shows all the reports, spreadsheets, magazines, and
old mail that I had saved in my overhead file cabinet, two draw file
cabinet, and desk top file that I put in the shred containers. The
second picture is the result of shredding all these papers.
