Lotus Improv window showing a 4-dimensional spreadsheet, rearranged by dragging and dropping the year etc. tiles around. Year has been dragged from upper right (horizontal) to lower left (vertical), product has been dragged from lower left (vertical) to upper left (depth), both upper left dimensions have been cycled with the small slanted arrows to select "All regions" and "All products".

Taken at the very official business meeting at the end of Fantasy Faire 2026. So many spreadsheets and TPS reports.

Few things more boring than a screen shot of an Excel spreadsheet, but I didn't bring the cam to yesterday's race, again a 20 mile 2.2mile circuit race in Branchbrook.
My race report.
Very Brief Version: Schmalz's Suck Level = 4
Brief Version: I felt good after the race. Finished 15-20th out of maybe 60 starters. Didn't have to work too hard, caught my HR in zone 2 (!) a couple of times at 29mph! The beauty of a big pack. Avoided a crash, which always makes me happy, felt more confident in "the" corner.
Last week was a much needed recovery week from my hardest training week to date, which ended with a killer ride on Sunday. I met up with some cat 3s from the club and we set off on the famed Orchard ride, which is known for some big hills. It was like motorpacing. I think I pulled maybe 4 times in 70 miles, but I managed to hang on. Didn't really recover from that until about 4 days later.
Base 3 starts next week with increased hours, more hill climbing and some threshold work. First club race should be Saturday. Last one cancelled for removal of the gates.
This template is prepared for analyzing the results of High Price - Low Price tests and estimating the quantities to be sold, gross revenues and margin dollars for different prices. The price giving the best estimated profit is determined. The analysis is supported with a Price-Profit chart. SpreadsheetWEB version of the calculator provides all features of the template and it may be placed and used online.

The spreadsheet I use to track commutes (mostly for the purposes of getting transit reimbursement) lends itself to a lovely pie chart like this one. FWIW, April 11 was the tipping point from bus back onto the bike.

In the Adapted Hindu Wedding Ceremony document, the part about my dad coming up did not happen at all. Instead, the pandit called both Dad and Sherri up -- perhaps because they were the only parents either of us had at the wedding -- but only had Dad take part in a ritual -- and a completely different ritual than what had been described in the document the pandit had provided me.
Podemos tropezar una y otra vez, siempre encontraremos baches...pero lo más gratificante es ver como te levantas para seguir adelante, saboreando cada momento.

Working with the DoF calculation for all images I made the following spreadsheet
DOF = 2CNU^2/f^2
In Focus = DOF^.5 for 45 degree angle
CoF (C) . . . . . . . . . 0.03
Apertures (N) . . . . 1.8 . . . . . . 3.5 . . . . . . 7.1
Distance (U) . . . . . 394
Lens (mm) (f) . . . . 50
DOF (mm) . . . . . . 6.71 . . . . . . 13.04 . . . . . . 26.45
@45 degrees . . 9.48 . . . . . . 18.44 . . . . . . . 37.41
. . . . . . . . . . . . 0 - 6/16" . . 0 - 12/16" . . . . 1 - 8/16"
The calculated DoF exactly doubles each time, 6/16, 12/16/ 24/16
I focused on the 5" line:
At f/3.5 - DoF is calculated at 12/16". The image looks acceptably sharp to me from around 4.75" to 5.5" which is the 3/4" I'd expect. Focus point was aimed at the 5" line.
