Tried a new technique of chucking the lights (leds) over the camera.......I like the result. I have been wanting to get some shots of this bus in a controlled environment for a while. I Enjoyed the night!

Beetles, Ghia and Kombi, by Volkswagen

There was a collection of buses & bugs that seemed intentionally left with rusted & decayed bodywork. The chrome was all gleaming and bright and I guess the bodywork had been lacquered to protect it from further decay!

 

They looked soooo cool, very original and pure.

This is a scale model vw split screen camper van battling through some snow (plain flour) in the mountains (rocks) the misty effect was created by blowing flour through the scene and the headlight effect is from lightroom radial filter tool. All in all i'm quite happy with the result in my first attempt at toy photography!
