800cc's of grunt :)

According to wikipedia this car would rocket from 0 to 60mph in 52 (yes fifty two!) seconds and it's top speed was 62 mph.

In 1960 it became the first British car to sell 1,000,000 units (say it in your best Dr Evil voice).

Roof rack and all! Back home after a few months away while we demolished the old garage, cleared the site, then built the new one. The new garage was built with a stock height Kombi with roof tent/roof rack in mind. I wanted to drive in after a weekend away, and not worry about having to take the heavy roof tent off to get it in the garage.

I'm hoping we can rig up some sort of storage in the eaves, with pulleys, for the tent. No more bad back!

This weekends job on the new garage was starting to tile the roof.

Check out progress in the album, including time lapses :-)

I always have very happy associations with railway stations but they can be scenes of sadness; saying good bye to a loved one, waiting for someone who doesn't show, making a journey alone.

This is a shot I've had in mind for sometime but normally with the Mk4 sets the loco ends up under the bridge. This evening I was lucky and the set was short formed by one coach.
