He's always taking my photo, so when I saw this paint splattered I ceased the opportunity to shoot him for once. I like how his shirt matches. :)
Fireworks is kind of like abstract painting, except nobody questions its legitimacy.

Today I had this idea of a silhouette with a gun and some paint splattering around and I also wanted to try out some tools and stuff in photoshop.
This is the result of my creativity.
I hope you like it.

This is a macro shot of some splattered turquoise paint on top of dried purplish/silver paint. Another expiremental moment at work.
Well I have been gone FORVER. Been enormously busy. Anyway, I should be photographing a lot because of the break. Merry Apocalypse Eve! :)
I got a new toy this week.... a splatter gun. It's a Stampin' Up! tool that is an air pump thingie that you use with your markers. I used a variety of Tombow markers, some Smiggles markers and even a couple of Copics! I then distressed round the edge with some Picked Raspberry distress. I also used the same ink to stamp my sentiment. I used some washi tape ~ used one of the Hero Arts Sketches.

At the paint splatter party, this was one of the creations. It's being framed right now so I can hang it up at home.

I revisited this particular shot, and instead of just seeing splattered paint, I felt some emotion in this pic. Was it a cover for a murder mystery? There was a feeling of confusion. The splattered paint was now splattered blood from the crime scene.
If there were only one truth, you couldn't paint a hundred canvases on the same theme.

Splatter was created by my influence of an artist named Emma Lindström, but I never understood her process and so had to create my own. This was done using spray paint and water. By spraying the paint in water it created abstract pieces, the paper was then dipped into the water, once it dried I used fixative so that the paint would stick to the paper, as I found out that once it dried if you ever touched the paint it would peel off in the form of dust. Each piece was very special as it could only be revealed once it was put on paper.
