i dyed this fibre at a workshop, and don't have much of it, so i decided to spin it on my spindle. It's 70/30 merino/bamboo. Very nice blend.
One of the most unusual poisonous Autumn berries is the berry of the Spindle shrub (Euonymus europaeus). ... The berries contain toxic cardiac glycosides and alkaoloids. Children are attracted to the bright orange fruits, which contain toxic seeds.
We went to an open day at Thames Chase Forest Centre and wandered around for a walk.
I haven't managed to capture the beauty of this tree. It was such a lovely wash of colour!
Can anyone identify it for me?

My first skein of coloured merino yarn - all 4.25 meters of it! I think the results are pretty good to say I just pulled tufts of different colours out and layered them up (no combs yet.)
Walked in Hellingly fields today weather quite good blue sky and some sunshine mostly light and plants today.
Liked the high key effect of the euonomous tree against the sky.
