Well, they finally did it. Our beloved Berwyn Spindle was cut down overnight in order to make way for a, "Big Box" store that few people actually wanted. Hooray for progress.

Here's 100g of one of Louett's Northern Lights rovings. It's a wool/soy blend that I did on the drop spindle. Lace weight-ish and it took bloody forever!! I'm going to Navajo ply this but right now it's parked on a bobbin while I take a break from it for a bit.

A dreary and grey walk today was lifted by the beautiful colours of the spindle tree...

First skein on the medium spindle - 33m of "Cafe" merino from Ashland Bay (supplied with the spindle), 2ply laceweight, spun and plied on the above spindle. I'm happy with it, it's my first completely spindle-spun skein.
