In 1965 it was a real pain in the butt to answer a summons. It required an appearance at the Criminal Court in the County in which the summons was issued.

Fines could not be mailed in. This procedure requited taking a day off from work and spending a long time looking for a place to park. There was a long line of offenders on the line to plead guilty to the judge.

Check out some of the offenses such as Number 7, 17, 19 and 20.

Whale watching in Skjálfandi bay near Húsavík, Iceland. I went with my two daughters and really recomennd taking the RIB speedboat tour with Gentle Giants from Húsavík.

Tried panning the camera to capture cars! Out of 30 odd car shots, this one looked OK.

More attempts needed.

A fast boat passes the Waverley as the passengers wave. Taken near Penarth.

This picture was taken from the SS Waverley, the last remaining sea-going paddle steamer in the world. Paddle steamers were shown to be out-performed by screw propelled ships, by Isambard Kingdom Brunel in the C19th, but they have their uses, having a shallow draft. This ship was built on the Clyde in 1947 - to replace the original Waverley that sunk off Dunkirk in 1940 (I expect the Luftwaffe had something to do with this), the Waverley was originally built to sail between Craigendorran & Arrochar in West Scotland.

Another westbound cruises past into the tunnel.

a stop at the IMS? of course!

This is my second in series of shots related to Busses of Leicester. I love the posters which often make the bus attractive and taking photos a pleasure. New attractive streamlined busses have been seen in Leicester since my last batch. A new bus station could be built in 2014 to replace the Haymarket Bus station.

I took this photo while speeding on the way to Cincinatti. Yes we was swurvin'.

East Coast 225 train at Loversall Carr Junction, Doncaster on the East Coast Main Line.

The speed limit was I believe 60 and he was flying past us. Take this as a hint "Po Po"...this is why so many citizens think you're scum...because the one person who shouldn't be breaking the laws breaks them all the time! You can't expect us to be law abiding citizens when you don't even follow the laws yourself. TAKE THAT!

Stopping at a biker event in Bexhill meant that I could get some practice with panning shots. This shot was taken at a time challenge, testing their speed and handling - the best for me was the scooters! All great stuff and a chance try various shutter speeds and a couple lenses.

Mambray Creek, South Australia

200 asa is a bit slow for these trains.

Speeding north on a King's Cross to Newcastle a VTEC class 91 near Thirsk.

Breitling Jet Team number 2. I really like the effect of the big numbers on the vertical tail plane. I also like the livery of the Breitling Jet Team... It's quite nice and smart.

Don't fly by a bad ass photographer and think I can't snap a shot at only 75...me and my Canon are still wayyy faster than you!!!

A red London bus speeds along Oxford Street at dusk.

Look at the path of destruction a speeding car made through Manor Park. It jumped the curb, took out a fire hydrant, city trash can, a brick walk, the entire fence, and even snapped a full grown tree in half (that's what looks like a bush at the end of the yard).

Of course the driver was going much faster than the posted 25 mph speed limit. Got any ideas on how fast? I say 50mph. What's your guess?
