One of East Coast's HST sets is seen passing Prora Farm near Drem with the daily Inverness - Kings Cross service. 15/4/14
Spent the day down at Upper, Middle, and Lower Falls. I had a lot of fun, but was a little dissapointed in that the river was pretty high, and the falls were gushing. It was actually amazing to watch, it just made photgraphing them a little difficult, if not impossible.

This was my first summons and it was issued by the NYPD 105th Precinct. Why did I save it? In the 44 years since this speeding ticket I have received just two more and they were both issued in the same Precinct!
Just returned from the Indy Car race in Richmond where I had a chance to be in the pit. I have quite a few photos to post. This is Danica Patrick (yes, I have a photo with her) speeding by at 170 mph.

Filmed on Tuesday 12th August at Bramhall Railway Station, the film is cut short as the battery ran out while I was filming this! :(
This group of five rather poor quality photos were on a strip of type 127 negatives, so they must have been taken in 1963 before I got a 35mm camera.
The very basic camera was not really up to night shots, but that didn't stop me.

An Irish Rail Class 22000 DMU speeds to Sligo with an InterCity service on a fabulous spring evening. The water in the shot is the Royal Canal, and the path next to it is the old towpath, now the Royal Canal Way, a very heavily used local amenity for walking, jogging, fishing & cycling.
The motion blur is intentional, but a little less pronounced than I'd hoped. The idea was to really contrast the stillness of the canal with the speed of the train which only briefly interrupts the tranquility.
