Lillian ordered a Vintage Barbie Rolls Royce car ... I thought she wanted to be sedate and ladylike!

I've put this back on as I deleted it from further back and a few people liked it !

First used in our 1984 'Diamond Jubilee' Holiday Programme and still used today - on the web site and sometimes on my letterheads, depends who I'm writing to !

Pity you can't rearrange the order of the pictures - I also had a plan but sadly it didn't work and I'll just have to tack things on the end !

A small 50mm prime lens upgrade from my old trusty f/1.8 to the faster f/1.4.

The wider aperture lets significantly more light in, allowing for shorter exposures. It can also be used to create a narrower 'depth of field' (the range of distances which are in focus), and lovely, silky smooth 'bokeh' (background blur).

Should be great for those low-light music gigs!

Taken on my first day of my journey across Canada by VIA train. October 2018.

The window are not very clean so the photos are not that good. Also the train was speeding along at times and really bumpy. I have put all the photos I took on my journey on Flickr as a record of my trip.

A class 395 "Javelin" passes Wye at speed as a class 375 Electrostar departs for Canterbury West, Sturry, Minster and Ramsgate.

While waiting for my train to come in (literally - I was waiting for an Acela to arrive for my trip home), I did a little shooting on the platforms of Newark Penn Station. Here's a so-so pan shot of a departing NJ Transit train. August 26, 2008

This driver is about to receive an award for his ability to drive fast on GA 365. Based on the speed he was going when he passed us, he is also going to receive an second award in the mail adding $250 to the one this police officer is about to hand him. The State of Georgia has implemented a mandatory second ticket to any driver caught at 85mph or more. I cannot remember the city this police car was from. I do not believe it was a sheriff's vehicle.
