Nikki is a shepherd/Lab who was nearly starved to death as a tiny puppy. As a result she has AD/HD and Obsessive Compulsive Disorder. She was on Prozac which has done wonders to control her aggression and lack of impulse control. She is obsessed by balls and her beloved Kong Wubba...which must be red.
Nikki lost her battle with cancer in the fall of 2011, but she's with me always.
Every year we bring together our partner agencies, corporate supporters and hundreds of our best friends for the Champions for Children Summit. We educate in the morning with a conference on nonprofit management and childhood disability, then we celebrate in the afternoon with a grand luncheon!
