Spc. Adam Levowitz, trumpet player with the 257th Army band "Band of the Nations Capitol" polishes his trumpet in preparation for playing at Presidential Inaugural Ball, Jan. 20, at the D.C. Raptor Soldier Spotlight: Spc. Michael Davis is an AH-64E Apache Helicopter Crew Chief assigned to Task Force Saber, 16th Combat Aviation Brigade, 7th Infantry Division currently deployed in support of Combined Joint Task Force - Operation Inherent Resolve - عملية العزم الصلب. He hails from Benton, Louisiana, and is a graduate of Benton High School. Davis would like to complete his undergraduate education and become an Aviation Warrant Officer.

Spc. Ryan Lindberg, of the North Dakota Army National Guard, controls his opponent, Sgt. Tyler Brown, of the Oregon Army National Guard, June 7 during the combatives portion of the Region 6 Best Warrior competition June 7 at Camp Gilbert C. Grafton, near Devils Lake, N.D. Lindberg is the winner of the soldier category of the Army National Guard regional contest, which is a test of various soldiering skills and knowledge. The region 6 best warrior competition included soldiers from Alaska, Washington, Oregon, Idaho, Montana, Wyoming, North Dakota and South Dakota.
