Using ancient Sparkfun MIDI shield to control ancient Roland SP404, works great actually. Almost no code. SoftwareSerial does NOT work for some reason, maybe it's the counterfeit arduino, I don't know. Have to use TX.

Sparkfun had their autonomous vehicle competition on Wednesday, and I took an hour from work to check them out. I only got to see a few of the attempts, then took a tour of the company, and went back to work.

MaxM should be able to drive a dozen or so of the Sparkfun light bars.

 

The wiring of the Sparkfun bar is V+,B,R,G and not V+,R,G,B, so you'll have to swizzle the wires on your connector to get proper color.

This is an Arduino project that uses the Parallax RFID reader. I managed to get it all to fit inside of Sparkfun's project box. It's was a little tight, but ended up working great. I'm using it as a serial device with a WPF based application to read in tags and identify tagged objects.
