identifying the fraying problem with sparkfun thread. top thread is good. bottom thread (old sparkfun thread) has no internal structure & frays like crazy
This is going to be a KAP control system. It's based on the transmitter module of a 2.4GHz R/C system from Hobbyking (HK-T6A) but replaces the main board with an Arduino. The user interface utilizes a thumb joystick with integral button for aiming and shooting. It also has a ring LED to indicate pan and tilt settings. Several shooting modes will be selectable via a rotary encoder in the center of the LED ring. And, finally, there will be a bluetooth module to permit setup via a smartphone.
