It's been a little while since I uploaded a dog shot. At least a couple of weeks.

Seeing as this was shot at ISO 12800, I'm pretty happy with it :)

In homage to my lurcher puppy party I see what can only be the Springer Spaniel equivalent

..in case you were wondering!

My lovable, naughty Dog Charlie. He is 10 next month. My constant companion and at my side when most of my wildlife images are taken. Part of his camouflage.

~16 week old female cocker spaniel puppy named "Kona"

Wishing all my friends, followers and occasional visitors a really wonderful Christmas-time however you spend it.

For us, it is celebrating the birth of God's Son, Jesus, into the world as a tiny, dependent infant, who would grow up to become the man who would give his life for the sake of others such as you and me.

As well as remembering Jesus' birth we will also celebrate the holiday period with family & friends, exchanging gifts amidst Christmas goodies. We hope that you can do the same.

This is our tiny, dependent infant - Teazel. She is a working Cocker Spaniel now 13 weeks old and a bundle of energy, fun and mischief. She's currently lying on my feet but will have one of my shoes into her den given a millisecond's lack of watchfulness from me! She is also part of the explanation of my lack of presence here of late!

Happy Christmas & hopefully see you in 2020!

Enjoy the walking !

Just to cold without jacket !

~16 week old male cocker spaniel puppy named "Sun"

This is Damsen the field spaniel having a break from flushing out pheasants.

I photographed this little guy today. A super excited pup with a zest for life. It was unfortunately a rushed shoot since I had such an incredibly busy day. It started off playing mom taxi, 2 shoots, then rushed off to volunteer at a photography awards ceremony.

Whew, full day...2am. Time for bed.

My Spaniel no longer a puppy but grown into an adult dog

Portrait of the rather lovely spaniel we met at Southend today on our New Year's Day walk!

Well no one said that spaniels were very bright. Photo taken through the window.

I did this as a Christmas present , hope you like it x

A dignified and mellow hunting companion of kings, the Clumber Spaniel is the largest of the AKC flushing spaniels. For those who can handle some shedding and drooling, the amiable Clumber is an amusing best friend and a gentlemanly housemate. Clumber Spaniels are powerful bird dogs of heavy bone, built long and low, with a massive head.

This is my assistant. Sometimes she stays behind the camera, but was the intentional subject today, while the heir was at the skatepark.

The assistant has much to learn on the 'adding photographic value' scale.

A very well trained dog. While its master talked to us it just lay at his feet.

"Rugeley Old Quarry" "Cannock Chase" Staffordshire

20th March 2025.

It was a long hard walk, but so worth it.

Nice vet man came yesterday checked me over from head to tail.My eye much better only one drop twice a day. He says getting in and out of car too much for my legs.

that's not a cigar in her mouth but a bird's wing. For the squeamish the bird was dead before Molly got hold of it!

Teasel a young Springer bitch waiting patiently for her dinner. Our older Spaniels have since taught her to shuffle & wriggle while she waits.

This lovely cocker spaniel belongs to a friend.

A chocolate labrador and a black spaniel playing with one toy on a steep garden slope.

It is the spaniels toy.

It's not the size of the dog in the fight, it's the size of the fight in the dog.
