A lovely young Cocker Spaniel having lots of fun :-)

Large is good. He has suddenly become addicted to his ball.

Having left the hot dogs behind at Glenfinnan, a fresh Scottish breakfast roll filled with black pudding, bacon and yolky fried egg and a pint of Ardgour Session ale enjoyed at the Ardgour Brewery, overlooking the stunning scene of Loch Linnhe and the mountains around Ben Nevis made for a perfect morning tour round the Ardnamurchan 'loop'.

Another one of Honey, the beautiful spaniel we met when we were In Royal Victoria Park a couple of weeks ago

I do like doing portraiture (human and animal!) with the Tamron macro lense. Sharp where you need it and lovely bokeh, especially wide open. Little irritated by the blown highlights, but can't have it all!

Started playing with control points more, in the Nik Collection.

This is a pic of Rupert with Razz in the background .... as walking duties are at a stand still for Razz, they are both taking the opportunity to check out the back of their eyelids regularly!

This is my pet dog Peppa, she's a labrador crossed with a springer spaniel, she's a springador lol.

It's not as sharp as i would of liked, but cannot keep her still.

A fine looking dog . . . and figurine!

Thank you for taking the time to view this photo, and for the faves and comments you make, thank you.

Logan enjoyed seeing the alpacas today, who also found him interesting. The sun was very bright today, and I was glad to find Logan in the shade. I used my trusty flash to light him up.

Prompt: Full body shot, watercolor painting of two Irish Water Spaniels in an open field, liver coat. The dogs are looking in the distance. The dogs are close together. One standing and one laying down. The background is an open field. full body view, --ar 4:5 --profile w4touhj --v 7

I was photographing a monarch butterfly in a garden at Wright-Locke Farm when Holly strolled by on a walk. She happily posed for a few photos and was a very good girl.

Taking advantage of the Spring sunshine, this Spaniel draws breath before going off exploring in the Somerset countryside.

My working Springer Spaniel amongst the fallen the leaves.

I don't really know that his name is Sparky, but I like alliteration. :)

I have seen this pair twice on the trail. Sparky is not young, but man does he move it. He might even be in Richard's elite class for all I know. Nah. Couldn't be that good.

A little later, around the bend, Sparky let Spaniel cool off in the water. I passed them by, and then then passed me by again, for I must needs walk slowly. V e r y s l o w l y.

Well one thing's for sure, I need some snowshoes!

This shot was me literally not being able to take another step from being tired. The snow was so deep and hard to walk through my body had burned all of the energy my waffle breakfast provided.

My Spaniel puppy caught having his afternoon nap after his usual spell of mischief!

Sporting Group: The American Water Spaniel, native to the lake country of the upper Midwest, is an upbeat, outdoorsy athlete who loves to hunt and swim. They are known to be happy, eager, and charming, though aloof with strangers and a bit stubborn.

This energetic young spaniel managed to stay still long enough for me to take this shot at the Game and Country Fair in the grounds of Euston Hall in Norfolk.

... a friends dog ... I'd never cope with a spaniel, 3 collies are easier!

The frisky and curious Tibetan Spaniel was bred ages ago for sentinel work on the walls of Tibetan monasteries. Known for a flat, silky coat and 'lion's mane' around the neck, the Tibetan Spaniel forms a tight, worshipful bond with their humans.

The Cavalier King Charles Spaniel wears his connection to British history in his breed's name. Cavaliers are the best of two worlds, combining the gentle attentiveness of a toy breed with the verve and athleticism of a sporting spaniel. The Cavalier's all-around beauty, regal grace, and even temper mark him as one of dogdom's noblemen.

Thank You So much margaret & John

and lovely Rona

This lovely spaniel is not of course a King Charles Spaniel but I was struck by his regal pose and the way his lovely ears hang down and I was reminded of various portraits of King Charles II of England. (I hope it isn't a crime to compare a past monarch to a lovely dog!) I think Charlie here is a Field Spaniel and yes I think he is 'king' of all the spaniels I have ever had the pleasure to meet.
