I am working on a few WWII Soviet ammo crates and wanted some feedback.
This crate is for a rifle cartridge.

The Boeing Collection
From a collection of some 500 Boeing slides that I've had scanned from my archives. Hope they will provide some enjoyment and nostalgia from a bygone age.
One of Iran Air's three Boeing 707-386Cs is seen here flaps down and hitting the brakes after landing on runway 28L at London Heathrow. You can't miss the British Airways Cargo sign in the background :)
Iran Air at Heathrow In the 1970s and early 1980s, Iran Air used a mix of Boeings into London Heathrow. We had their four short 727s EP-IRA, B, C & D on a regular basis, but I never managed to catch one of the stretched 727-200s! [see comments section below]. The 707s EP-IRL, M & N gave way gradually to the 747s EP-IAG & H and 747SPs EP-IAA, B, C & D which took over most of the services. There were also some secondhand 707s in the form of EP-IRJ, K, N451RN & N794RN, the latter two being freighters.
EP-IRL 'Apadana' c/n 20287 - Boeing 707-386C was delivered new to Iran Air on 31st Dec 1969, the first of three brand new 707s that the airline bought. The aircraft flew its entire life with Iran Air, although it was transferred to Iran Airtour Airlines between 1996-97. The aircraft is listed as stored on RZ Jets - withdrawn from use at Tehran-Mehrabad.

Aeroflot is the common name for most of the civil aviation of the USSR with a lot of state–owned aviation enterprises and institutions. Founded in 1923, it is one of the oldest airline in the world. On the basis of Order No. 100 of the Volga Directorate of the Civil Air Fleet dated September 20, 1945, in the city of Ulyanovsk, a Separate Aviation Unit was formed, which included three Polikarpov-2 aircraft. Almost twenty years later, in August 1969, the Ulyanovsk Separate Aviation Unit was transformed into the 324th Joint Aviation Squadron. It also consisted of three aviation squadrons, which indicates its significant potential and importance for the country's civil aviation.
