My second complete image with the William optics Redcat telescope. The Heart Nebula, also known as IC 1805, is an emission nebula located 7,500 lightyears away in the Cassiopeia constellation. The Heart Nebula is often imaged with IC 1848, which is known as the Soul Nebula as seen here. The Soul Nebula is a cloud of cosmic gas and dust 150 lightyears wide that’s being illuminated and carved by powerful streams of charged particles emanating from an open cluster of stars. This combination of the Redcat and the QHY268 Camera is truly amazing for widefield celestial objects. Hope you all enjoy and thanks for any constructive comments.

very often i have the feeling that our avatar reflects our soul in secondlife today there was a tragic accident in the city i come from a driver sped into the pedestrian zone at full throttle and tore 4 people to their deaths 15 people were slightly to seriously injured a baby of 9 months a 71 year old woman a 25 year old woman and a 41 year old man were dead on the spot.
Since that incident i have been sitting paralyzed at home with my face full of tears and unfortunately i can't make my avatar smile today either.
that's why i call our avatars in sl the mirror of the soul.

The Soul Nebula is an emission nebula located in the constellation Cassiopeia. It forms a famous pair known as the Heart and Soul with the neighbouring Heart Nebula (IC 1805). The Soul Nebula is sometimes also known as the Embryo Nebula or IC 1848, which is a designation used for the open star cluster embedded within the nebula. The Heart and Soul Nebulae complex spans an area about 300 light years across and is a vast star-forming region illuminated by the light of the young stars surrounded by star-forming clouds of dust and gas. The two large clouds are separated by only 2.5 degrees and physically connected by a bridge of gas. The stars in the region are less than a few million years old and are only beginning their life. For comparison, our Sun has been around for almost 5 billion years.
