It is in the early morning when this person appeared in front of me.
She was walking along the beach when she stopped and spent sometime simply staring out to sea.
What thoughts were going through her mind we will never know but she gave the appearance of being in an almost trance like position.
Perhaps she was pondering the events of the forthcoming day or maybe her thoughts took her somewhere into the future.
We will never know for certain but what we do know for certain was that she came into view and despite our distance we were both entranced by the power of the sea as it ebbed and flowed.

The title of this picture was inspired by the ancient Tibetan
shamanic ''Soul-Calling'' - ritual, which was performed to summon lost souls back to the place or body, in/to which they naturally belong.

Recently I've been exploring lots of contemporaty & fim/analogue (and polaroid) images. The more I see the more I fell in love with their concepts, emotions, colours, experimental freedom..Those analogue photographers (and independent contemporary photograhers) do not follow up technical perfection or award-following results like DSLR (or new mirrorless) users do; instead they search for art, for concepts, for stories-they go on undiscovered small paths, instead of highways..The way they create colours, different visions are amazing..It's like diving into a black hole that you do not want to come out..
I also try to understand the ''language'' those artists-photographers are using. they are my guidelines on the path for searching my new voice, my new concept- but I am at the very beginning of this new road- and I need to practice a lot:))
The title refers sort of my search of this new language-my ache of travail for trying to give birth of a new concept. My model Anna did a fantastic job for accomponiying me-sort of we were trying to explore those new era together..
Our hitchhiking trip through Spain has led us to countless beautiful places, but this one has caught all my heart at once and brought my mind to peace. I felt like I could have stayed forever, even though I know I'll always have to fly away.

2020 was a wild ride with many ups and downs.
I took some time to reflect on my favorite moments under the stars this year, and the beautiful images captured from my backyard.
This image of the Soul Nebula stood out, and I gave it a fresh process using data from 2 imaging setups.

The Soul Consoling Tower stands as a poignant memorial at the Manzanar National Historic Site, honoring the Japanese Americans who died during their incarceration at the Manzanar War Relocation Center in World War II. Erected in August 1943, this white concrete obelisk bears the inscription 慰霊塔 ("Irei To") on its front, translating to "Soul Consoling Tower."
