Homemade!!

These are a series of images from a two day Sony Canada Event. One was open, the second was invitation only where I got to use the much talked about RX1.

On the invitational walk, I had the opportunity to use the RX1 for the day, and it was a treat.

The amount of dynamic range and low noise of this camera is phenominal. I am comfortable to say that this just might be the best digital camera that I'm had the opportunity to shoot with.

When I get the chance, I'll post more on my Blog about this experience.

Thank you to Kerrisdale Cameras and to Courtney of Sony Canada to invite me to the events. I had the opportunity to try out a good chunk of the Sony suite of lenses and equipment, but I must admit I'm very much in love with the RX1

This is a before and after example of a blown shot. The shadows have been recovered by 2.5 EV, with some noise reduction applied to it. Needless to say I'm very impressed by it. More so than the D800 files. Sony has done something right here and made up for past mushing of details.

Another picture of christine from our first photoshoot...

I thought it would look good with a touch of canadian maple leaf...

unfortunately this photo has been used on few websites without author's permission - after discovery, I had to add watermark, unfortunately, too late.

However, it seems that recently, one site has removed my photo.

I have applied an experiemental present I'm developing which I will just call at this stage, "Vintage Classic Professional Slide". The subject just called for the effect.

After honing his skills as a Financial Advisor, Patrick helped to pioneer the role of a Banking Consultant to one of Canada’s largest, financial institutions. He spent the next decade giving expert advice to countless industry professionals and institutions such as the Toronto Police Services and the Canadian Armed Forces. Companies like Sony Canada, Edward Jones, and Adidas Canada have benefited from his strategies in cashflow management. His radio interviews on TALK 640 have helped him to spread his message to many seeking financial advice. But his greatest and most rewarding contributions have been in changing the lives of thousands of Canadian families that he has helped in restructuring their debt, savings and day-to-day banking more efficiently. Now, as a Regional Vice-President, Patrick spends his time coaching and mentoring others to do the same.

This photo was taken from around my neck and at my belly. I was using a trigger remote and just walking and randomly shooting. Zone focused and on F/8.
