My absolute favourite place to welcome the sun. It just so happens to be the most easterly point in North America as well so I’m also the first. Usually I’m there alone except for a random fox and an occasional early morning hiker. It’s always windy and always cold but the sound of the waves, the smell of the salt water, and that fresh cool air filling my lungs makes me feel alive. There isn’t another place on earth I’d rather be at that hour of the day. And just thinking about it now makes me crave another early morning lonesome adventure to welcome a new day.
Who is it that sits in that tree? What is that cold creature I have yet to see?

Was walking by a lake in the morning. Suddenly a flock of Canadian geese just flew over my head and was able to capture as they flew by.
Thoroughly enjoyed the Northern Light Show last night.. the added bonus was listening to the Orcas blowing in the ocean as the Lights danced above ..truly a West Coast Experience!!!

VIA Rail's late afternoon train out of Québec City crosses the high fill at mile 49 of CN's Saint-Hyacinthe subdivision.
Sony Canada hosted a small group meetup today at the Mountsberg Raptor Centre in Milton, Ontario, Canada, where they let us try out some of their lenses on our Sony mirrorless cameras. I shot this colourful image of an American Kestrel (a small falcon) with my Sony A6400 camera and their 70-300 OSS G lens.
