after finishing work very very very late last night I decided to for a brief walk before catching a cab home. Sometimes I need to decompress a little.

I love the gold colour here. And also very thankful that I bought the f1.8mm 28mm rather than the f3.5-4.5 wide angle zoom I was considered. DOF works so well here.

I did this a wee while ago, ended up quite liking the small study on the right.

the rocky skippers pool, a good salmon and sea trout pool, solid from bank to bank. must be very cold as this is one of the deepest pools on the river esk, (border esk) and the first time i have seen it all iced up, looking downstream of the skippers brig. langholm, dumfriesshire, scotland.

I have finally finished my quilt from the Euro Bee Block and I just LOVE it.

Thank you my friends for helping me with the blocks. I really don't know if I would have had the courage to make such a great quilt all by myself.

It took me a long time to make all the mini pinwheels for the sashing and the borders, but it was worth the pain.

ich hoffe, er gefällt....

beim nächsten mal weiß ich, dass ich diese seidig glänzenden, etwas "schlüpfrigen" stoffe (die einen tollen effekt durch die hst ergeben!) mit bw-batist hinterbügeln muss, damit sich nichts verzieht...
