Since I make Vulcan Raven and the Gurlukovich Soldier from the Metal Gear Solid series, I had to make Snake really!!
The hair was a Poly Resin Sculpt. The rest was make using my usual methods, which some of you will probably know by now, although the base of his tac harness is made from real grey leather.
In hindsight, I could have used a Barbosa head for this, but I'm never confident that the sculpts will turn out good, so I don't risk wasting a nice fleshie head. Besides, I'm quite happy with the hand painted face on this one.
Modded a BrickArms Socom for Snakes weapon. Could've made the M9 tranquilizer gun, but I wanted Snake to go lethal for once!!

Got up very early this morning and met Philipp Hilpert to shot the sunrise,
which was hidden behind the fog. SUCKS!
So I'm just uploading an other minimalistic bw seascape.
A heavy westbound coal load climbs heavy grade that reaches 3%+ in this spot. The sound of the assault could be heard several minutes in advance of the freight as wheel slip control and the deep thrub of Union Pacific GE AC locomotives reverberate off the tight canyon walls. Headed up the grade on Main 2 (aka The Inner Loop) this heavily weathered, custom lettered refer car is seen in a pan shot behind a high hood NS SD.
... sinking myself in the solid air. As far as your eyes can see, no horizon. How strange it is to have nothing to look at, nothing to stare at. Only a white milky cloud that goes backwards when you follow it. There could be so many things behind this thick curtain. Many giants or many birds.

Southern Pacific (SP) SW1500 2479 shows off a unique solid red rear cab paint job in Eugene, OR on Friday, June 21, 1974.
SP 2479 is an SW1500. Reportedly: (sources include Strapac's fantastic SP Compendium series) SP 2479 was built in Aug. 1967 as SP 2479 Builder order number 7997-17, construction number 33139, SP Class ES415-1.
Disposition: Reportedly, it was retired in July 1994 and sold in July 1995 to Omni-Trax being resold to Minnesota Corn Processors (MCP) 2479 in Columbus, Nebraska. It was repainted green with gold and beige bands.
While driving one of the KS Hiways (K 9), I found this cut in the hill that was solid rock. I bet it was a tough job cutting a path through this to make way for the hiway. I also believe after getting out and walking around that there might have been a rock quarry on the other side of the hill.

A peaceful late afternoon on the Lyell Fork of the Tuolumne River, near the campground. The river was very low and meandering, due to the drought and being late in the season.
