a) I think the soil at my location is sandy loam.

b) Being that the soil is a type a loam it is generally good for absorption of water and nutrients.

c) Organisms in the area were mostly plants and some lady bugs.

d) The plants affect the soil quality because they use up the nutrients in the soil.

e) There is a possibility that the soil can be eroded because it is close to the salt pond. The soil may be deposited into other areas of the park, which I feel would not have a bad effect.

f) Knowing the texture of soil let's us know how water is absorbed and moved in an area and also what type of organisms would grow there.

My Question relates to what types of animals like clay loam soil the best or prefer it the most? Because my location has a lot of slugs and spiders, does this mean that my soil is a very good source of organic debris so they can break it down?

Also, do animals exist in the same woodlot, but farther down where human activities are not around or do they sense human activity from far away and tend to stay, themselves, far away?

He should get a regular report from a soil testing lab to know each and everything about the soil so that he can fix it and condition it for great yields every time. Step 1. The moist soil was difficult to form into a ball. It is a sand

This is clay loam. This area is farther up the area (hill), causing it to be less sandy. There would be erosion here because of the area being on an open portion of the hill (no plant cover).

Step 2. When the ball up soil was bounced, it broke. This is "loamy sand."

Random picture. I listened to the soil and grittiness did not dominate meaning it is silt for a final classification of silt clay loam.

The soil in my picture hinders water flow because it is very dry. As you can see there are several slugs located right below the surface of the soil where I took my sample. These organisms use the soil for food and in turn the soil gets replenished. The soil I collected is somewhat likely to be eroded because it is located in close proximity to a small stream that is barely noticeable when it has not rained in a long period of time but with the amount of rain recently is at a visible level.
