Oops - big fingerprint
My desk space from back in the mid-nineties.
I just got a film scanner so I can now scan my negatives. I'm surprised at how scratched so many of them are, just from lying around in film wallets in a box for years.
I like the results from this scanner and the sofware a lot. I just got the thing on February 21st, so i'm still getting used to it. I imagine I'll be posting a lot more film scans on flickr.com though.

Saat jalan-jalan untuk menghilangkan rasa penat saya melihat pemandangan yang cukup menarik. Pemandangan dengan permukiman yang padat dan terlihat kurang tertata. Lokasi ini terdapat di Kota Malang tepatnya dekat dengan stasiun kota baru. Melihat pemandangan seperti ini saya teringat dengan permukiman yang dijadikan tempat syuting film HULK 2 yaitu Ri De Janerio. Dengan view yang menarik tersebut berkeinginan untuk mengabadikan dengan kamera saya. Dan keesokan harinya saya mengabadikan pemandangan tersebut. Foto ini saya ambil pada sore hari sekitar pukul 04.00 WIB.
Foto ini terlihat pengambilannya dari atas karena saya memfotonya dari atas jembatan. Karena keterbatasan alat yang saya miliki maka pengambilan foto ini tidak menggunakan tripod, cukup dengan mengandalkan kekuatan tangan saja agar kamera tidak goyang. Oleh karena itu mungkin hasil yang saya dapatkan kurang tajam. :D
Alat yang saya gunakan adalah kamera Canon 500D dengan lensa Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6. Pengambilan foto saya lakukan dengan tiga exposures -2, 0, +2. Untung mengolahnya menjadi foto HDR saya dibantu dengan sofware Photomatix pro 4.0.2. Setelah diolah di Photomatix pro 4.0.2 untuk mempercantik warna saya dibantu dengan software Lightroom 3.

This is a large salt cliff we passed on the river ..very odd indeed!
The area in Cheshire around Northwich and Winsford on the River Weaver has since Roman times been the centre of the Salt extracting industry in the UK..
This salt is at the Winsford Rock Salt mine..they have a very informative and interesting web site ( link www.winsfordrocksaltmine.co.uk/history/) with lots of info, pictures and even videos!
