Ishida Kōtarō, Shibata Yutaka, and Saburo Ishizuki founded Bullmark on April 4, 1969. Bullmark had their sofubi toys manufactured by the company Shimada Toy. Some of the early Bullmark kaiju sofubi releases when they began in 1969 carry the Shimada Toy logo of a baby chicken. Beginning in 1970 is when the Bullmark logo design started. Bullmark closed its doors in 1977.
Bullmark came out of retirement in 2008. New Bullmark continues its relationship with Shimada Toy by having them produce their sofubi toys and with the help of sales going through M1号. In 2009, New Bullmark established its own official website and took over sales directly.

Toys with candy. A traditional combination to promote both world. Gundam mini sofubi figure series with Ramune candies candies by Bandai in 2004. Avg. 4.2 inches tall. Candies are long gone but I don’t mind : )
This is Soft Damashii Kaiju Hyouhon 2.0 Skull Monster Red King from Bandai in 2009. This one’s originally ¥3,500 but it seems shops can’t get rid of it for some reason. Maybe the price was too high to start with. However, when it is 80% off, it would be worth buying one! When the box is open it looks quite nice.
