On Tuesday we finally got our new, grown-up, has-a-sweet-bed-in-it couch. So where's the drama? Well... when the delivery guys came they insisted it wouldn't fit through our entry way. The ceiling was too low. The doorway was too deep. Blah, blah, blah. They tried several times and clearly, it was not happening. My only choice, other than sending it back (which we were NOT going to do after all the time we spent picking it out), was call the sofa dr. One little dude came out to our place about 2 hrs after the couch was delivered. He took the whole thing apart outside (it involved sawing) and then put it back together inside our apartment. I thought my heart was going to stop when he started up the saw. And it was a freakin' expensive thing to do for an already expensive couch (esp considering that we'll have to do it again when we move someday). But look at us now--it's perfect for where we're at in our life. Worth the drama, for sure.
