today i am mostly enjoying sitting on my new sofa, looking out into the garden...! and trying not to notice how disgustingly filthy the cushion covers are...UPDATE: my covers are no longer filthy...they are sparkling and clean ;)
i made this sofa cover and cushion covers when i moved to this apartment last year, i love blue and white combination.but now this cover is dirty as it has become the day bed of my dogs.
The old sofa is awaiting collection by the council. I'm rather sad about this as the sofa is very comfortable. However, it's quite low and I find it very difficult to get up after sitting on it.

Vintage Dux (Danish Modern) sofa from the early '60s. The original sofa was badly damaged and had a horrible odor due to mold and (possibly?) cat urine. We had it reupholstered with vintage Danish fabric similar in color & style to an original fabric that Dux used so it would remain true to the period. We love the color and it looks amazing now. Very happy that we could refurbish & save this beautiful sofa.
The vintage Brittini print above the sofa was a recent $20 thrift shop find. It's a modern interpretation of "The Emerald City" from THE WIZARD OF OZ and I absolutely LOVE it. THE WIZARD OF OZ is one of my favorite films. The empty bookshelf is something we bought at West Elm six years ago.
{slumberland} love this leather sofa, it apears more white in the photo, but it is actually a buttercream in person.
