Finally, I have no more of this yarn.
There is weird perspective in the photo since I put my foot on a chair and then held my camera at arms length aimed roughly perpendicular to my foot.
They're a bit snug in the ankle so getting them on takes a firm tug, but once on they fit fine. I could have increased a bit less in the leg but I don't think they'll be a problem. The slip stitch pattern makes a thick fabric so they should be nice to wear this winter.
Using Wendy Happy sock yarn, 75/25 bamboo/nylon blend, 2.25mm KnitPicks Options circular needle, plain stocking stitch toe up sock, Judy's Magic Cast on, WendyKnits gusset/heel flap, sewn bind off.
Completely by accident, the stripes matched perfectly, except for the toe - due to a knot in the grey section on sock one.

Made from the most luscious malabrigo sock yarn, purchased in a fit of sheer lust at I Knit three weeks ago, and turned into a pair of socks in the intervening time.
These make my feet very happy (and warm too, which is important).
Completed stripey socks.

I knit these on the train to and from England. Very easy pattern and fun yarn. I chose bright pink so my sons wouldn't want them - but then a girl friend saw them and made it clear that true friendship could only endure with a bit of help from a pair of lipstick pink socks!
Only for a challenge would I show my feet to the world! :D I love funky socks and this is one of my recent buys!

These are a pair of crocheted ankle socks made from Regia Silk Color....part merino, part acrylic and part silk. Best sock yarn I have used so far. Soft and stretchy. Used a size C hook.
One ball of Malabrigo sock. I like this yarn, but I have to learn to stop knitting socks before they get to my knee, since I pretty much never wear kneesocks
